This player is very convenient to carry and take with you to listen to music on the go. The two small speakers on the front can get very loud on their own, which comes in handy if you take them to a park or large room without speakers. Speakers don't have full sound, but speakers in a portable player that play a lot of bass can ruin playback of a recording. If you want a fuller sound, there are RCA jacks or headphones that you can connect external speakers to for more bass. It also has an auto stop that you can toggle on or off, but it doesn't reset the tonearm, which is nice as those features stop working after a while in my experience. It's durable and perfect for my kids, which is my main goal in choosing this player. They love their records but I don't want them messing around with my expensive record player so they have their own to listen to. This player is definitely not for music lovers, but for a portable player it will sound pretty good and play Sesame Street and old Disney records (and of course the Beatles 45) that kids love to listen to.
