Review on πŸš— Complete ASC Car Stereo Dash Install Kit for Mazda Vehicles - Single Din Aftermarket Radio Installation Made Easy by Aaron Carney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2001 Miata with factory amp and Bose speakers - perfect fit, easy to use.

I HIGHLY recommend this product IF you already know what you are doing with these types of projects. I'm making up all sorts of nightmare stories on the Miata forums about hooking up this factory Bose setup. All I can say is that I haven't had a single problem. Everything worked perfectly. I used a Sony MEX-N5200BT head unit with this installation kit and nothing was missing. Everything works as it should on the first try. There are no instructions for the cable set itself, but the cable set plastic bags are color keyed so DO NOT throw them away. There are basic dash kit instructions and I will say the dash kit is solid and looks VERY good once installed. The box that comes with this kit is also approximately 1/4" shorter in usable space than the standard single DIN Mazda Miata crate, as well as approximately 1/8" wider in usable space, providing the perfect storage space for the ME represents . for my iPhone 8Plus in a wallet. So for me it was a win. I made all the connections in house, heat shrink tubing etc - then took the whole assembly out and disconnected the battery terminal, hooked it up to the factory wiring harness, hooked up the antenna cable, the mic for my bluetooth and the only thing I had to do was do. "make" is the "plug" to be plugged into the factory grounding plug. I then inserted the radio bezel, bent the tabs, inserted the aftermarket radio, and that was it. All of this took me about 30 minutes. This set is quality and it's easy to make when you already know what you're doing.
