Review on Jensen JWM62A AM FM DVD CD USB AUX App Ready Bluetooth Wallmount Stereo with App Control, 3-Speaker Zones 8 Speaker Output 8X 6 Watt, Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Controller (A2DP AVRCP) by Chris Maurer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good machine but missing antenna, mounting screws and manual

I bought the JWM62A to replace an 11 year old Jensen AWM970 in my trailer. Both are the same dimensions so I could use the same cutout, however the wiring harnesses are different. Luckily all the wires coming from the JWM62A are clearly labeled so I was able to connect the trailer's existing speaker wires to the JWM62A's wiring harness using the end connectors. I've read that newer Jensen units have the same wiring harness as this unit. So if you have a newer device you can just plug it in without having to splice the wires to the JWM62A harness. To mount this unit you will need to pry up the two thin plastic side panels to access the mounting screw holes (mounting screws not included). See photos. Pros: the ability to connect via Bluetooth; You can adjust the brightness of the display - even turn it off; Jensen app so you can run this device from your smartphone. Cons: no owner's manual or installation guide (I found this by searching the internet, but it doesn't come with the unit), no radio antenna included, and no radio reception without it (my RV had a coaxial cable connector for the antenna, so I had to buy a separate wired $7 -buy a universal antenna), the buttons are cheap and don't "feel" the quality. All buttons work, but as other reviews have mentioned, the device feels cheap. Everything works as advertised on mine, just thought for a price of $200-$250 they used higher quality parts.

Cons
