Jensen JWM62A AM FM DVD CD USB AUX App Ready Bluetooth Wallmount Stereo with App Control, 3-Speaker Zones 8 Speaker Output 8X 6 Watt, Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Controller (A2DP AVRCP) Review

I installed this in my RV on June 20th. I never used it before December 20th. I have 6 speakers in the camper. When I turned it on I got sound from two speakers. There was no sound from the television. Just got a call from the shop that installed the unit. ,(I returned it to them as I thought it was a problem with the SN installation). They advise that the device should not beep from it. VERY DISAPPOINTING. garbage

The AWM970 only has a RED hot wire while the original JWM52A had a YELLOW and RED wire. Jensen ordered only the RED wire to be used and the YELLOW wire not to be used. The device works well but the buttons are not of the highest quality. oscillating when switching radio channels and difficult to set up. The wiring harness connections weren't too difficult to figure out. Just slow and easy, everything on the table, was the ticket for me.

This unit is a great replacement and upgrade for the original camper radio/cd player. Having a DVD player on the wall is great. The additional AV input on the front will benefit the grandkids for the games console when they visit. All cables were very well marked. The only thing I would wish for was more modern audio inputs on the back of the unit. I don't have an RCA audio output on our TV. They're a bit outdated, so I can't run DTV audio through the device. But overall a VERY good device…

So far this is a good radio. Installation wasn't that bad, although I had to reassemble everything. My biggest complaint is the lack of a real guide. The box comes with a paper booklet that covers most things, but it would be nice to know that you can have all 3 zones at once OR one at a time OR two at a time. I hooked it up to my RV not knowing how far I could isolate zones, causing me to miss out on more surround sound on the internal speakers. Overall, though, this is a good stereo…

Bought this radio to replace an old unit on my boat. Mounting brackets were missing but I got lucky with the mounting hole I cut because it fits snugly without the brackets. Also, BT doesn't work so the whole purpose of buying this particular radio (remotely controlling multiple zones with a cellphone) isn't available. Tried to contact technical support - IMPOSSIBLE! I had a Furrion DV1200 unit that was starting to have problems. I was looking for something that could fit in the same opening with as little modification as possible. I stumbled across this Jensen, perfect fit! No modifications to the mount were required. The wiring harness was different than the Furrion and I had to splice the wires to Jensen's wiring harness. I bought the JWM62A to replace an 11 year old Jensen AWM970 in my trailer. Both are the same dimensions so I could use the same cutout, however the wiring harnesses are different. Luckily all the wires coming from the JWM62A are clearly labeled so I was able to connect the trailer's existing speaker wires to the JWM62A's wiring harness using the end connectors.
