After receiving my straps I have to seriously question five short 5 star reviews. My belts are .75" instead of the advertised .79". The buckle is clearly designed for a 1" harness, so the webbing will want to slide to one end or the other of the buckle. So it tends to go a little lopsided. The buckles feel pretty strong and I like them. The buckles are very "stubborn" for the straps. The strap itself is very thin! As such, it tends to shrink around the edges of the buckle and along the edges of camera cutouts. When tightening, the straps begin to twist at the edges and bend in the middle. That doesn't say anything good about the straps at all. My cameras have slots for attachment like "tape" in addition to holes for camera attachment cables. Most camera slots accept straps that are 1 inch wide or larger. I was hoping that the advertised 0.79" would be enough, but the straps I received were even smaller, 0.75" wide. As a result, the cameras don't feel well attached. For trees that are perhaps 10" or less in diameter, you can use these straps to double wrap the tree for a stronger hold. I don't know how durable they will be and I don't know how well they will hold up in the sun. But I know they don't feel or look solid. My trail cameras are not heavy, but nature is certainly not soft, smooth and friendly. I'd rather not buy them. Don't waste time returning them. I'm glad I already have another type in the order.
