Works, but I'm better with USB docking stations. My only real complaint is that the write speeds are incredibly slow, even with a dedicated USB 3.1 Link+ controller. and the drives you plug in are not recognized as block devices registering them as USB removable media (i.e. the device vendor class and OEM strings are NOT passed back to the OS, instead you get a facade interface - although for 99.999% of you it will play). doesn't matter - so I now have two docks and this one is only used as a read only dock for backup drives and for duplicating drives (the reason I bought it and it works great for that purpose claims zero.)
