Updated 11/21/2020 - added a photo of the brush next to another extra long brush for comparison. she is getting older and can no longer reach behind. Your old one was a standard sized short brush, it was no longer useful. I ordered this and a slightly longer one hoping that one or both would do the trick. luckily it worked out very well for her. it's easy to grasp. Medium soft bristles. no quality control defects at all. Most importantly, she can now get to places she couldn't with the old one. I would use it again if needed and recommend it.
