Review on 🐾 Tiki Cat Grill Grain-Free, Low-Carbohydrate Wet Food: Nutritious Seafood in Broth for Adult Cats & Kittens by Jae Pistono

I feel good when I feed my cat Tiki!

We switched our rescue cat to Tiki after trying to switch her from dry kitten food to dry adult kitten food of the same brand. He was sick a lot and that was the only change we made, so it's most likely to blame. I did a lot of research and was frustrated that most popular brands have bad ingredients so I did an extensive search and came across this brand on a blog. The ingredients were way better than the grocery store or even pet store options. He ate it straight away without a second thought (he was never a picky eater) and 3 years later we still feed him it exclusively. He gets a dose morning and evening and we have seen a dramatic decrease in his vomiting. The only time he does that is that we can find a clear reason for it. which almost always amounts to a ball of fur (he has long hair) or a plant/flower. I've noticed he started drinking less water after the switch, but his vet said he only feeds him wet food (which he thinks is a lot better for her in the long run), he gets most of the liquid from the food himself, which he obviously did not get with dry food. It made sense the moment he said it, which is why we always put fresh water out, but don't worry if he doesn't drink as much as he used to. I also poured some water into the jar so I could scoop the rest of the food off the bottom and pour it into his bowl. It's not much, but I feel better knowing he's getting some extra water, especially in the warmer months. When you open the can you can see the ingredient clearly, unlike the mash you get with other wet foods. Alternating between this style, Queen Emma and Tiki's pumpkin variant. He likes them all and we like to give him a change. It's a bit more expensive than the brand we can buy on our weekly grocery shopping trip, but he loves it, he's been healthy (he's only ever needed his regular vet checks) and we can feel good about feeding him so it's worth it itself !
