Every time we buy a new (different) RV there are always upgrades, especially the lighting! The first step is to get rid of energy-intensive incandescent bulbs and use LEDs for each lamp. But we needed something above the bed to use as a reading light at night that wouldn't bother others. I've always bought van lights by cost but not this time - I wanted a dimmable LED with 5 star reviews and then I found these. Dimmable light is the best quality and metal construction I've seen and I'm picky. Even the wall mount ring is CNC machined from 5051 aluminum and comes with a 2mm allen key. Robust attachment and tight tolerances speak volumes. The blue night light touch button provides the perfect brightness for the "pit stop in the middle of the night" and the push-and-hold reading light dimming function is excellent. On its lowest setting it's great for reading without getting in the way of your partner, and the LED is housed in a 'conical cap' that can rotate to point exactly where you want. Bought for our second motorhome parked by the lake. You get what you pay for, so from now on I'll skip the $10 RV lights and get these. Highly recommended. I don't write many reviews - too busy - but this seller deserves a review.
