I've made it harder than it needs to be. #1/#2 are the key to shorten polishing time.1. Use odd sanding pads up and down and spray the lens with water frequently.2. Use the even numbered sanding pads from side to side and spray the lens with water frequently.3. Be generous with the polish (I was NOT a polish and this resulted in a lot of re-polishing!). I also chose NOT to cover the lenses with clear coat as it only lasts a year and makes sanding issues worse. Expect a milky polish residue that rinses off easily. I suspect if I keep the lenses clean I might not have to polish them for many months. (Just take a look.)
