Review on Capture the Finest Details with Tokina FiRIN 100mm f/2.8 FE Tele Prime Macro Lens for Sony E Mount Cameras by Dennis Wood

Didn't buy through Revain so this isn't a rating of service or delivery. I needed a macro lens for my Sony A7r3 and chose the Tokina solely because of the price. Didn't want to spend over €1000 on a G-Master. Some of the complaints I've read are legitimate. As the lens is not an internal focus lens it is a bit noisy and the focus is slower than I am used to BUT the optics are amazing. This has to be one of the sharpest lenses I've ever used. As for focusing, when I'm working in macro I still use manual focus because AF never works that well no matter what lens I've used with my Nikon gear in the past. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this lens to any Sony photographer looking for a macro lens.
