So first off, let me say I've had a few of these good ones since 2012. This mouse used to be awesome. They typically last about a year under heavy use, which is fine with me. Well when I bought my new home in 2019 I chose the ergonomic version of this mouse and I can tell you it was one of the best I've ever used. However, the USB stick literally broke into 3 pieces and just stayed connected to my computer. So I went back to this mouse only because of the cost difference as the other mouse lasted 6 months. Now let's review this mouse for 2020. The mouse is now made up of completely crappy and cheap parts. It's not like anything it was before. It only works half the time and now it's just a huge disappointment. I have. All I can say is that I will never buy a Microsoft mouse again. I wanted to tell the story of this mouse that explains why it has so many 5 star reviews. All of these checks were performed prior to the production change for this mouse. There is a chance I received a faulty one, I understand that, but I will not spend money to buy another just to look at it. I would recommend avoiding this mouse as my high school soccer career turned it into an "ex copycat" - a bit of humor needed to be added in a serious review. I hope this helps at least one person. Save your money, don't buy this mouse.
