Review on Quad Trimmer Carbon Steel Blades by Paul Dobson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

If you make more than one roll of veneer, buy them. If not, see below.

As the title says buy this if you plan to use more than one roll of veneer. This works well, but you'll need a bit of practice to make sure you know what it's like for the blade to "bite" and cut properly. I also used the trick of splitting the two halves apart so I can just work one edge at a time, which is less likely to mess up your work. If you just want to build a few shelves and need less than a roll of veneer, buy a pack of new utility knife blades and use those instead! No matter which one you use, if you cut against the grain of the veneer you will regret it. To get the most out of your veneer: 1. Carefully measure and cut however any pieces you need.2. If there is a knot or defect in the veneer, trim it and.3. Attach the defective pieces to the edge of the shelf and practice with them. Work slow and it will look great!
