Boils quickly, temp control works well so far (haven't tried all temps), nice kettle goes well with some other kitchen items we have, looks sturdy. Already used several times for making coffee and tea. One negative - since black tea and coffee require around 208°F (or less, depending on the tea), I expected the temperature control to be higher (my mistake, should have looked more closely at the picture). The water boils at 212°F so it's still working fine, I'll just wait a bit before pouring it, but the highest temp control is 190°F which leaves a big gap. Maybe you can't keep the water at 200°F consistently for safety reasons? Probably too hard to simmer for long. I just wish the instructions said something about that.
