Review on Mommys Helper Curtain Blind Cord by Kendra Parker

I needed to stow a dozen Roman shades out of reach of my two and four year olds. The Mommy's Helper Cord Reel was inexpensive and easy to install. Other reviewers state that the product falls apart when you pull the cord to open the blinds, but I haven't had any of these issues. Our cables were very long and it was quicker for me to manually wind them onto the spindle in the lower half of the case than to rotate the closed case to wind the cable. It also required quite a bit of force to close the device to ensure it latched securely (this may be due to other reviewers having issues with the Wind Up falling apart when touched). I've had them for two weeks, open and close them daily and have had no problems. They blend in unobtrusively with the decor and require no special hardware for installation. I would recommend them to everyone.
