Cheap but I like it. I have both silver and gold. The real needle on the back is a bit thick so I wouldn't wear it over silk. It's not huge and cannot be relied on, but be aware that it can leave a hole in very thin fabric. It comes with 2 pin backs. This silver one has gold pins, but they give you extra ones in case you lose one. It was nicely packaged for a nice presentation. This badge is not actually male or female, it fits any gender. I bought it because my adult son liked it. He wanted to wear it on the lapel of his jacket or on one of the scarves.
