After endlessly searching Revain for cheaper sconces to use as a night light I settled on this one and I love the way it looks, love the on/off toggle switch and that there is a Plug has to add an electric clock or something else. I found I had to use a very low wattage bulb as it is very bright. I put it on the wall next to my bed and connected it to the network. What I didn't expect was that the glass that protects the bulb from the front isn't curved enough to prevent the light from the bulb from blinding our eyes while we're lying in bed. If this is only used for ambient light on a wall it will work, but I wouldn't recommend mounting it lower for these reasons. Also, it was difficult to mount on the wall instead of a hard wire as there are so many wires to pack into the back that will be wall mounted.
