I'm not an electrician. However, it was very easy to set up. All you have to do is hot and white wire into the marked hole. Tighten the screw and you're done. The ground wire is the only exposed wire. You need to connect a ground that can be a good match to the green screw. The size of the device is quite large for a single box. If your mounting box has multiple wires, it will most likely be very difficult to slide the entire assembly in. Even if you fit the entire back of the outlet, it's designed not to sit flush with the outlet cover it comes with like a regular outlet. Basically I am satisfied with the product. I actually bought and installed it because my new doorbell is USB powered. I really can't say anything about the loading speed. However, the ability to plug in a USB device and not lose the outlet is one of those little things in life that you don't really appreciate until you get it. I will recommend this product.
