Build quality is good enough to handle a $300 device, you're not going to throw it on the floor like a pair of shoes or anything. The console fits in perfectly, feels secure with the Velcro and can be easily lifted with the strap on the back of the case. For $10 you get a great Nintendo Switch protective case, so I would definitely recommend it.
