Okay, I'll be honest with you, before I got this my only cleaver was a $15 Walmart knife. Yix, I know. Needless to say, as someone who follows Dalstrong's releases (I've had good experiences with pretty much everything I've ever bought from them), I was thrilled to see them grow. As mentioned, I really scoured the market for a knife that wasn't useless and oh my god Dalstrong delivered it again. Based on some of the early reviews when this knife first came out, it seems like a lot of people got a knife that wasn't as sharp as they expected from Dalstrong products. Given the recent review trend, I'd say that's a kink they've been developing since then. So by the time you're reading this, these knives will be ready to cut through whatever you put in front of them. If for some reason you're one of millions who are exempt from this rule, it's worth noting that Dalstrong's customer service is the real deal. If you are unhappy, you can bet someone in the company is unhappy and their whole job is to solve your problem. As for the knife I have, I've been using it for about a month, not as much as I often do. the utility knife, but here's what I've noticed so far: 1. The black finish is as functional as it is stylish. Yes, this piece will look great anywhere in your kitchen, but does it work well? Yes, yes, it is absolutely true. The finish hasn't worn off and is as sharp now as the day I bought it with a little trouble.2. Grip is seriously underestimated. Maybe I read the wrong reviews, but few people admire the comfort of this cleaver's handle. You can hold it however you feel most comfortable, but it will never slip off. This should be the standard cleaver size. Not all cleavers are the same. I've seen tiny ones, I've seen ones as big as my face. How do you know which size is right for you? Simple, I swear by it, and I'll never doubt it again. Bottom line, this should be at least one of your last considerations when in the market for a splitting device. The cleaver alone has too many advantages. Given the brand? Well, let's just say it's hard to find many companies like Dalstrong in the modern era. You are more important to them than your wallet.
