Passed the Illinois emissions test!

I installed this on a 2003 Toyota Highlander AWD for my parents. Code obtained for P0036 H02S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2. The connector is located under the driver's seat. You'll also need to remove four bolts and fold the driver's seat back to access the floor. Disconnect the negative cable from the car battery with a 10mm wrench after removing the four screws of the driver's seat. Then go back to unclip the connector and slide it through the floor. The plug is under the carpet about halfway where the seat should have been. There should be a gap where you can feel the plug. Or you can carefully trim the carpet (make sure there are no wires in the cut) for better access. From there it's pretty easy. PB blaster for two bolts and leave on for 3-5 minutes. A 13 mm deep socket is required to loosen the bolts. Disconnect the clip holding the cable and you have removed the sensor. Just cancel the installation process. You will need copper anti-seize paste as it is not included. Also, don't forget to install a gasket between the exhaust and the 02 sensor. One last thing. The 02 sensor was different than the original or the replacement my parents had in the car I rented. The connector was the same but the wire color was different than the connector to the sensor when it was replaced. My mechanic buddy said to put it in as it might be different. I did that and the check engine light didn't go out. My dad drove the car 35 miles home and the next day took the car to an emissions test station here in Illinois. The vehicle passed.
