Review on ๐Ÿƒ Enhance Your Runs with New Balance Men's FuelCell Prism V1 Running Shoe by John Frazier

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Almost as good as the Nike Lunarglide!

Wanted to say, especially for the price, it's almost as good as the Nike Lunarglide and LunarEclipse series. Pros: Lightweight, flexible, great fit. Cons: Can get a little soggy and unresponsive when you hit your heel/midfoot and that FUCKING insole! Funny, the first few starts didn't cause any problems. During the fifth run of the test marathon, the insole began to slide up. I had to stop and put it back and the second time I just took it out and tucked it into my shorts. Now I have a blister on my back. But I just read about the problem with the insoles and then it happened. So before using it for a race or important run, tape it, tape it or do something against the slippery floor to keep it from slipping on it. If you use your own insoles then that's not a problem (but why would you? Is this already a moderately stable shoe?) Plus it's the closest thing to the shoe to the beloved Nike Lunarglide that this #bigbonedflatfootedrunner had. I still use the Nike Zoom Fly 3/Flyknit for racing (corrective insoles for long runs. It's a neutral shoe) but I'd love to see the development of this great shoe. But dammit, fix that insole.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are nuances
