Longer than other sizes = 11.5 New Balance shoes

I've been buying size 11.5 New Balance shoes for many years. For some reason this shoe was a quarter or a half inch longer than my other New Balance shoes of the same size. Boots. Should be as wide as your thumb; I can fit almost two fingers behind mine.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons

Great support but very poor build quality.

So first off I have to say that the arch support and overall orthotic arrangement in this shoe is incredibly helpful in recovering from the stress and pressure that comes with your feet. BUT, and a big BUT, the quality of manufacture of this shoe is terrible, after wearing this shoe daily at work for 2/2.5 months, it only ripped on the side and has started to tear, for the price it is he unacceptable.

Pros
  • Easy Fit
Cons
  • Functionality

The sole slips further and is less durable. Take 1500 V instead.

The outsole keeps slipping while walking, which is very uncomfortable and annoying. I've worn a lot of sneakers and this is the only pair that has had this problem. I've run about 25 miles with it and the bottom rubber is already worn out. They can last up to 100 miles, which is very short even for racing shoes. I've worn the NB 1500v5 as a stability rider and it's better on all levels.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Empty

Holes in the top of the shoe within 2 months of purchase

These shoes were very comfortable, supportive and a great fit, however I have had these shoes for 2 months, both shoes have holes in the top of the shoe . I've had the shoes for over 3 years and still no holes in the upper and the worst thing is I contacted New Balance to see if they could do some sort of return and they said they couldn't. I'll probably stop buying New Balance and stick with Under Armor or Nike.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Protection

Strange but they liked it.

I've only run in New Balance running shoes since high school. I liked the light, fresh foam cushioning on the original Zante and later on the 880. These shoes are different. I don't usually like stability shoes, but I decided to try them this season. At first it was difficult to get used to them. It felt like a racing shoe because it's so light and responsive. After 3 months of wearing the pillow is perfect. If you're looking for something that offers the perfect balance of cushioning and…

They look amazing in real life

This is for the Black/Lead colorway. The upper is a rich deep black (it looks more gray in the product photo). Really just a joy to look at - lots of cool textures, very subtle, with a tiny, tiny patch of bright orange on the heel that only matches the same color on the plastic tip of the toe. The New Balance "NB" logo is slightly embossed on the front, not ugly at all. The overall look of the shoe is slim and slightly high, but not chunky. I've worn other supportive wide-based platypus-like…

  • Sleek design

  • Flawed

Almost as good as the Nike Lunarglide!

Wanted to say, especially for the price, it's almost as good as the Nike Lunarglide and LunarEclipse series. Pros: Lightweight, flexible, great fit. Cons: Can get a little soggy and unresponsive when you hit your heel/midfoot and that FUCKING insole! Funny, the first few starts didn't cause any problems. During the fifth run of the test marathon, the insole began to slide up. I had to stop and put it back and the second time I just took it out and tucked it into my shorts. Now I have a blister…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are nuances
