Custom laces! Too tight fit at top and sides. I had to cut out the permanent elastic laces for the shoes, I also cut out the elastic that goes across the top of the foot. I then purchased and installed 54 inch regular black cotton athletic shoe laces. I use an extra gel insert for more comfort, now it fits much better. Had to pay an extra $10.
