The g502 had a few issues on my mat where the g102 had no issues. However, this is not the central point. This mouse is not for you if you frequently use the wheel press on the middle button. The middle mouse button allows me to rotate the camera in my 3D application. To do this, press and hold the mouse's wheel as you move it. The g502's design makes the wheel sway when you do this since the additional buttons on its sides begin to clack. It's a terrible experience. The pressure on the wheel is also quite firm. In less than 5 minutes, the finger will begin to ache. Therefore, I took the mouse back to the shop where I bought it. If you don't need the middle button, though, the mouse is excellent.
