Doesn't keep food as hot as a thermos
First of all they look great and I like their features. However, my kids say their lunches get warm by lunchtime. We pack lunch at 7/8 and they eat it at 12:30. I followed the directions and poured boiling water in before wrapping the food. It seems 4 year old thermoses are still being used for a hotter lunch. Unfortunately they look great, are bigger and have more functionality, but they just don't perform like the smaller Thermos branded products that we have. I really wish they worked and kept the food warm. I can try holding the canister under water to see if the vent valve on the lid is leaking.
