I liked the first leash I bought so much I ordered a second one as a spare! I have a 10 month old Australian puppy who has quite a strong pulling device (which is getting better every day) and I need a leash that is much softer on the hands than nylon, offers a softer feel with some suppleness, and for the price I would do that, don't fret if my little heathen chews it up. Looks like it met my criteria. It arrived quickly and immediately exceeded my expectations. The skin is oily, soft and silky. He's a really good weight. The clasp is durable and the handle design is nice and solid. It's a pleasure to use with my pup - the skin has great elasticity, so every nanosecond he presses (by pulling) on the leash, he immediately releases it. The leather is so soft there's literally no risk of burning or chafing if you pull it across your hand, and because it's leather it has a tactile feel, which helps reduce hand fatigue. This is my training and running leash and I never want to be without it again! This is incredible value and with this level of craftsmanship I expect it will last for many years to come.
