I decided to try this to make the cotton substitute more comfortable and I have to say I noticed a huge difference in taste. I usually buy unbleached organic cotton that is not "laced". on amazon and unfortunately I will continue to buy it instead. I was willing to pay a little more for the convenience. You all have to understand how badly I wanted this clapping to work for me. I have a sensory processing disorder and it just so happens that cotton feels like a nail on a board to my body. So I was excited about this lace design because it means I don't have to touch the cotton as often. I really, really, really wanted this to work for me, even if it costs more. This lace cotton makes my juice taste smoother and I swear I can smell a slight bitterness that reminds me of the smell of plastic. This does not make my juice unsuitable for vaping. It just reduces the flavor to the point where I miss my last shot. I gave every size a chance. Don't replace cotton too early. Sometimes it can take time for the flavor to develop if you have a fresh spool and cotton. But the taste only got worse from the start. Tried 3 different times, 12 days in a row with this cotton. Literally 5 minutes ago I was trying to go back to my old cotton and had to jump in and post a review because I kind of forgot how good my juice tasted. I don't know why it tastes different, but it's just different. Except for the taste. The cotton is uncomfortably short. Photos are misleading. I had to cut the plastic end to reach the bottom of the well in my RDA on either side. I don't throw this cotton in the trash. It's still handy enough to have an emergency repair kit, for example when I'm on the road and need to replace my rig. But I would never use this cotton unless I had to for some reason. Most will likely be given to someone who can use them for something else. Don't waste, don't want. I hate writing bad reviews but it's necessary. I hope this is helpful to you.
