I got this about 2 1/2 months ago so my partner and I have had more than enough time to play with it. Lightbulbs and related applications. I'm not rating this for Alexa integration as I don't typically use voice commands at all. Connecting lightbulbs to the application was quite easy. When I first started trying out simple functions, I was impressed by how quickly it responded, possibly because my previous lightbulb connected via Bluetooth and not Wi-Fi and the response speed was always random. Based on how I've used these bulbs, I'd say they're perfect for me (I'm pretty simple when it comes to smart bulbs). Color variety was good, although I think there were some issues getting multiple reds to render correctly. These bulbs get noticeably brighter at 100%, and after the initial sync, my phone didn't need to be connected to Wi-Fi to interact with the bulbs (I'm new to smart Wi-Fi bulbs, so this may already be the case common knowledge. oops). Lately I've been using these bulbs mostly as regular bulbs with a light switch and there is a delay of about 1-2 seconds after turning on the switch before it actually turns on. It doesn't bother me, but it might be a problem for others. On the other hand, my partner was experimenting with more complex features of the app. It was pretty early when we first got the bulbs, so the app could have been changed or updated (I'll update this review if that's the case), but the complexity of the scheduling feature is startling. There are so many things you can do to schedule your lights to turn on a certain way at a certain time, but the coolest factor is that they change when certain conditions are met (temperature, humidity, weather, sunset/sunrise, wind). . speed, schedule/specific times and any changes on other devices also connected to the app). It's so much that I wish the app was more user-friendly on this section because I got overwhelmed with it pretty quickly. I don't know how it can be simplified without sacrificing some features (which is why I gave it 5 stars). I also noticed a new feature that appears to be still in beta, but the lightbulbs seem to follow the action when you "Depart or Arrive". I haven't tested it yet, but the idea seems pretty attractive. Now the bulbs, which actually did what they were supposed to do, never had a problem. They would turn on on a schedule, turn off on a schedule, get warmer or change color at the right time, and it was pretty impressive (it was a big problem with my bluetooth smart bulb). To have everything I mentioned above included in such an affordable price I would say this is a very good deal. These bulbs are a great introduction to smart lightbulbs for those who don't want to risk a lot of money on a system they doubt about from the start, and they can also be perfect for those who want decent smart lightbulbs without exceeding US$100 - spend dollars.
