Review on CASOMAN Magnetic Welding Holder Switch by Ben Barrington

Switchable magnets - how do they work?

(It's actually pretty cool how switchable permanent magnets work; check it out on YouTube if you're interested.) Anyone serious about welding has a bunch of magnetic corner blocks handy – although not necessarily switchable. Since I'm just starting out with welding, I only have one so far. They are essential for keeping steel plates at right angles (or 45°) when tacking. These special corner blocks work well, although their fit and finish are nothing special.

Pros
  • Nice to use
