I'm most interested in photography and have had many cameras over the years. Before purchasing the Olympus Stylus 1, I relied on a multi-lens Canon DSLR Rebel XSi for general use and a Nikon Coolpix S9700 for travel. Both are excellent cameras; However, there are times when I don't want to lug around a bulky Canon and the Nikon, while great for travel, doesn't have a viewfinder, which I miss. So I decided to go with the bridge camera. Stylus 1. I've had this for a few months now and can't get enough of it. I won't cover all the features as you can see in the product description, but it has pretty much everything (and more) my Canon has to offer, including the viewfinder, but it's significantly smaller/lighter. It takes great indoor and outdoor photos and its features are easy to use. The integrated Olympus software offers more flexibility and creativity. It's not small enough for my pocket, so I'll rely on Nikon for travel. I've had a Stylus 1 for a few months and it has become my favorite camera.
