Review on 👕 Lemontec Portable Travel Garment Steamer: Fast Heat-up Handheld Fabric Steamer for Wrinkle-Free Clothes at Home and Travel by Marc Cahoon

First, I travel a lot for work. I mostly travel overseas to tropical climates so I bring light fabrics that wrinkle easily and I absolutely hate irons/ironing boards. So now you understand my struggle. I already knew Dampfer as I had a big one a few years ago that I liked but it was bulky so I gave it to my roommate. Now, 2 years later, I needed an ironing solution for at home and on the go. As usual I started searching Amazon and looked at several different models before settling on this one despite the negative reviews which frankly made me nervous and here is my experience: this little vape is awesome and takes about the same amount. Space in my suitcase like a pair of shoes! Yes, there are smaller portable steamers out there, but the thought of having to refill water for an item of clothing and wait for it to heat up again wasn't worth the extra suitcase space I saved. It heats up within a minute and I can steam a full maxi dress in one go with this little beast! You should position this steamer fairly close to the fabric (for the most efficient/fastest steam I rub the steamer head directly on the fabric, just like I would with a regular iron, except vertically of course) as full size steamers can hold you head an inch or two away from the subject. Mine occasionally spits out water, but it's VERY minimal (1-3 drops per use) and it's usually completely dry and imperceptible when I'm out the door/getting where I'm going. Every now and then during operation, the vapor almost stops for about 20-30 seconds after a short while (I have come to the conclusion that this is not a defect of the product, but rather a vapor regulator that regulates its temperature). so it doesn't overheat and break). This shouldn't bother you if the nozzle is directly on the clothing as it's still very hot, so I use this "cooling time" for finer creases and edges as I almost burned my fingers several times during the wash. . tried to smooth out the edges while running the steamer at full power. I also like the length of the cord, which to be honest I found to be annoying at first, but I just wrap the cord around the steamer's neck and it doesn't add much to the pack size. As well as light fabrics, I've also used it to steam an 8ft tablecloth that I take to work. To be fair I only did the front of the tablecloth and it even worked great on the logo part but I needed 2 refills so this steamer may not be ideal if you need a steamer for really large items but it is pretty obvious. already in size. I personally will continue to use this giant tablecloth steamer as the pros outweigh the cons in my situation. I've had this vape for less than a month and it's been used over a dozen times, has traveled internationally and shows no signs of slowing down! For the price this offer can't be beat :)
