DO NOT BUY THIS! in Travel Clothes Steamers

So I was so excited to get this and use it for my scrubs because I hate ironing. Guess what? It's like I bought a kettle with a handle! The water level is half and when boiling, water splashed out of the water bath! boom! My bathrobes got wet, as did the carpet.

Great steamer but small

I love this steamer: - It does its job - It takes about 60 seconds to start - So fast - Very easy to use - just plug it in and press the switch! Just a pity, nothing is written on the product itself, instead I can't read the size - it's too small. It can only vaporize 180ml of water at a time, which might be good for a few dress shirts. This is great when you're traveling and only need to steam 1 shirt, but if you've only washed a few shirts at home, you'll have to keep refilling the steamer as

Spits boiling water

I bought this because I was traveling abroad and packed as light as possible. Thought I could fit more clothes if I mixed them together but have this on hand to get rid of the wrinkles. On first use I definitely overfilled the base with water and hot water started spurting out of the nozzle. Not only that, I could see through the viewfinder that the water was boiling very quickly. I immediately drained the water and filled it up to just below the maximum mark. I had the same result, as soon asโ€ฆ

UPDATED: Water splashes have stopped and everything works great!

EDIT 5 Stars: I was asked to test the steamer again before sending it back. I'm very happy to report that I've used it 3 times and it hasn't boiled over or splashed water anywhere. Fingers crossed this won't happen again as it worked great once it stopped spitting! Original post: I was very excited to deliver the steamboat as my daughter's dance costume is full of wrinkles. A little over half filled to the MAX mark. Plugged it in, turned it on, vapor came out so I slid it up to the suit toโ€ฆ

Versatile and efficient little beast!

First, I travel a lot for work. I mostly travel overseas to tropical climates so I bring light fabrics that wrinkle easily and I absolutely hate irons/ironing boards. So now you understand my struggle. I already knew Dampfer as I had a big one a few years ago that I liked but it was bulky so I gave it to my roommate. Now, 2 years later, I needed an ironing solution for at home and on the go. As usual I started searching Amazon and looked at several different models before settling on this oneโ€ฆ
