Review on PACE ADS200 Soldering Tip Heater with AccuDrive Technology by Charles Adelaja

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I couldn't be happier with the performance!

I didn't buy mine from Amazon but I have to say I love them! The temperature response is surprisingly fast, and the new tip type with built-in heating element is 1/3-1/4 the price of JBC or HAKKO. The interface is intuitive and the design is solid. With a station, an iron, you can go from a large chisel point with sufficient thermal conductivity to a micro point. No need for two irons or a double station. IT IS HUGE! The tips are hot-swappable, meaning you don't have to shut down the system. When I saw the ADS200 I was relieved: I don't need a dual station and I don't need to change fm2027iron from fx951 to fm2032 for micro soldering. A kit that, by the way, will cost significantly more than the ADS200. Even at 799f, the tip stays cool. It's not just subjective. Objectively, it's ahead of the competition in terms of performance and affordability. Oh by the way. Pace is an American company that has been around for 60 years and manufactures its equipment in the USA. From my experience and correspondence with Pace, I see a great company with excellent people. Mine was shipped and had the October stamp and they checked and fixed all the errors, they really stand behind their products.
