Return to the Corsair drawing board!

March 17, 2019 Update Absolute crap. I have the F key stuck and the space bar doesn't even work. GARBAGE.------------------------------------------------ There are too many input devices on my desk. To save space, this 84-key mechanical keyboard does the job perfectly. The small footprint of the number pad allows me to use other input devices on my desk without having to move them to other locations. With Cherry MX keys, this is a solid keyboard. . While fur gets you more clicks, the feedback is excellent and I enjoy typing on this keyboard. But noise. less than desirable, especially when you're broadcasting and need to work with an open mic. Here are some things I would like to improve and why I gave it 3 stars. I am very critical as this is not a cheap keyboard. - It has to be wireless. - She should be quieter. For people who stream and play near an open mic, this could be improved in hardware. The price is too high. It's no more expensive than an $80 keyboard. By using fewer keys and plastic material it should cost less. Have more ergonomic tilt angles for work. All keyboard manufacturers screwed up this part by not allowing different footstop angles. There must be at least 4 heights with 2 degrees of variation - The cable occupies two USB ports. It's really a waste if you don't use the rear USB port for anything. Connecting a mouse to the back of the keyboard doesn't save anything. It's still plugged in and just adds more clutter since there are more mouse cables on the table. Also, I envision a USB input controller that resides in the keyboard and queues keyboard and mouse input. Let the operating system decide who gets priority. iCue only allows up to 5 levels of light effects. This is really a problem for those using applications (like games) that need to classify the lighting according to different categories of game input. There's no point in owning an RGB keyboard if it's limited. If Corsair can produce all sorts of library effects with 16 million RGB colors, what's the problem with more than 5 static color overlays? its static. If the problem is that you can't update fast enough, then you have a design issue that needs to be addressed in order to fix your keyboard. So fix it!
