Review on πŸ”₯ Dr. Ph. Martin's Iridescent Calligraphy Color Ink Bottle, Copper Plate Gold (11R) by Shawna Adams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hm. I don't like working with gold

As already mentioned, the gold portion detaches from the binding liquid fairly quickly. When I'm ready to load my brush after a few previous strokes, I have to stir it as done to get a similar quality/effect - most of the time I don't. It is inconsistent and unreliable in terms of results. Also, using ink droppers is really not practical for me. Although I sometimes used an eyedropper to drip the unsuspended ink into the water, this was the only time it came in handy. Otherwise my tips and fingers always get inky when I put my pen in narrow bottles. I ordered small wide mouth bottles to take with all my Dr. to fill Martin inks to fix this problem. It was a big problem!

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • no instructions
