For years I've used the standard Permatex silver anti-seize which comes in a tin with a brush on the lid. I thought this was the only way and accepted the shortcomings. Nothing more.+ Much easier to apply than with a brush, just sweep over strands and hold.+ Has the consistency of a lipstick even when cold+ Doesn't stick to clothes or utensils like glue+ Protects strands just as well+ Doesn't hold Doesn't dry and requires no constant stirring with each use + Smaller, more portable, low risk of spills I will never be able to use a brush again
