Review on MSGUIDE Universal Protection Waterproof Dust Proof by Chris Hayes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very light cover but decent quality. What's happening?

These 'smart' talking tires have been spotted on toads behind RVs and campers for years. Thought I'd get one as the geo tracker I just bought didn't have a tire and we'll be using it 90% of the time to track the RV. The package came from Revain in an envelope. I figured there must be a mistake - I opened it up and found the tire in a small bag. Put it on the scale and it weighs 4.8 ounces! Didn't even want to open it - thought I'd just send it back. However, I opened it up to inspect and found it to be of good quality - black nylon webbing of around 200-300 denier, with a nylon locking drawstring instead of the more traditional elastic. I took it to Geo and it fitted my standard 205-75-14 tire perfectly. I also bought an inexpensive white vinyl/stretch tire cover here at Revain to keep on my tracker when not being towed. The tracker has a white top and I would have liked a white case for it. So I'm going to save this cover and just wear it when towing for comic relief. It's $21 or so. But if you're looking for a heavier waterproof finish, it's probably best to look further afield. Also, when installed, the lanyard opening is on the left side of the hoop. at least mine. Hope that helps!
