Review on Knipex Tools 28 71 280 by Isaac Maze

I like the serrated sections which are great for disconnecting small hoses and vacuum lines. Top grip is good, grips are comfortable; I prefer grips to others I've used. They provide a good grip when covered in oil/coolant but clean up well. I feel my latches were a bit stiffer as you can feel the flex at the working end when removing the heavy spring clips. Admittedly, this was probably not a design criterion, but most mechanics use them for this purpose as well. I probably think knipex has an unreasonably high standard. I would still recommend these pliers.
