Review on TomTom GO Portable Vehicle GPS by John Warren

I like it better once I've figured out the 'function' of the display (from other users' posts on the TomTom forums). NOT listed in the product information, but the included USB power cable (for charging and data transfer) puts the display in a dimmed mode, making it difficult to see the display during the day, dimmer than when running on internal battery alone. To fix this, try a different USB cable that only supports battery power and is NOT designed for data transfer. I had several in stock but only 2 of the 6 cables kept the display bright.
