The blade is sharp!: Specialty Equipment

I don't write many reviews but I had to because I really enjoyed working with their support team. I spent days looking through all the meat grinders under $150 and I wanted one that I knew had a good blade that I would never need to oil. It was one of them. After reading some reviews about how "stainless steel" blades from some other slicers rust, I wanted to make sure the place I bought mine had the blade characteristics. This one actually tells you it's 420 steel. The other big thing for me was that I wanted 2 blades, one straight for slicing thin meat and one serrated for bread. If you search there are some that include both at the price I was looking for and the ones I've seen come with two, don't mention the quality of the steel. Since this company has a pair of grinders with different blades, I contacted the seller to get the serrated blade separately. They said they had them, so I bought this device. It arrived and wow that blade is sharp! Another thing I found in the reviews is that not many people mention cutting cooked meat. I smoked and fried eyes to make sandwiches with French sauce and set the blade to the thinnest setting and it sliced the meat so thin you could almost see the chunks. I removed the blade after cleaning it by hand (very lightly) and it is a sharp blade. I don't have another meat grinder to compare from previous experience but I like what I bought. Knowing the quality of the blade and now having a straight blade and a serrated blade (already arrived) is awesome. Considering the price, the quality of the blade, the lack of lubrication and the after-sales service, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
