If you know what a blind typist is, then you've probably learned how to type on a typewriter, and this might be something for you. It's spacious, doesn't move around the table when I'm typing, I don't need backlit keys because my hands know exactly what to type without even thinking about it. Added bonus, looks really cool! It makes a noise when you press the keys, about as loud as I remember an IBM Selectric and quieter than a Smith Corona portable electric device. Having typed letters on both of these typewriters in the early years, this keyboard is perfect. My typing speed started falling back to that of a flat, thin plastic keyboard years ago. Computer function keys, well I've been using computer keyboards since they came out and the key positions are standard so there's no need to learn them. I bought two of these hoping they are great so I can give one as a gift. Both arrived in perfect condition and I really hope the recipient is as happy as I am.
