We recently paid a plumber about $400 to "fix" 5 toilets. Basically he showed up and flooded a toilet, damaged our carpet and made sure the others didn't flush properly. Also, he didn't even supply a new lever or choke so the problems persisted. This tank lever is extremely easy to install, especially for the untrained. The red clips come out of the lever, allowing you to rotate and position the lever in any direction you need for proper installation. After it's rotated properly, reinsert the red clips to secure it. This lever has worked great on 5 completely different toilets. Combined with the hinged lid, I was able to fix every broken toilet in the house for almost 1/4 the price I paid a plumber who didn't even fix anything.
