As long as you like it. Even the light that indicates the status of the cartridge is more interesting and fun to look at than the percentage that it holds.
Pros
- The Elemaris XL model of the Brita jug is the one that we have used before, and I have written a review on it. In comparison to that model, this one appears to be much more dependable. The handle is well-designed and sturdy, in contrast to the last decanter, whose handle broke off. Large and easily accessible opening for a bottle of water. The filtration process happens quite quickly, considerably quicker than with the carafe that came before it. Even when the container is turned over down, unfiltered water will not spill out. Nice design.
Cons
- The handle, despite being made of a single piece, does not appear to have sufficient strength; yet, as the saying goes, "we'll see." The jug before this one had rubber feet, but this one does not.
