It's a trick. I was concerned when I bought them because if they block blue light they would need to be tinted, not erased. 405nm. that's actually purple. (You can check the wavelength on the side of the laser in the fine print). Thus, these glasses block light with a wavelength of 405 nm. Basically a tiny part of the violet spectrum. The blue reference light has a wavelength of 450-490 nm. Put on and look at the blue LEDs, monitors. anything. The blue color is as bright as usual. On my Uvex Skypers, the blue color looks green on the monitor. and the blue LEDs become almost invisible. avoid them. They are definitely a rip off and will not help block true blue waves, nor will they affect sleep or eye health in any way.
