Poor sensor alignment; The mouse does not move directly from left to right.

Okay, bear with my description of this problem. The orientation of the sensor does not match your wrist. See the image I've attached. The sensor is oriented along the red axes while my wrist is oriented along the yellow axes. You can clearly see that the palm rest moves away from the mouse in a completely different direction than the sensor axes! This mouse is poorly constructed. For comparison I have attached a picture of my Sanwa GMA130 where the sensor is perfectly aligned with the wrist position. A misaligned sensor is a big problem depending on how adaptable you are. If you pick up the mouse in the normal way and then move the mouse from side to side by twisting your elbow or using muscle memory as if you were using a different mouse, the cursor will move slightly diagonally and not perfectly straight. Side to side. So you have a few options: 1) rotate the grip slightly to hold the mouse in a non-standard position (not an option, there's really only one way to grip an ergonomic mouse) 2) retract your elbow fully, so that it touches your belly button and rotate around that point to get perfect left-to-right movement of the cursor (not an option either, obviously!) Brain to move the mouse a little diagonally when moving left or want to move right (I'm sure you can learn how to do it, but for me it's not worth it). Unfortunately I will be sending it back. The rest is convenient. I really just wanted to try an ergonomic mouse with a wrist rest, but I'll get back to my Sanwa GMA130.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Minor repairability
