Works well overall. The range is good, it tracks well and is a good weight if you put NiMH batteries in it. I mainly use it with Linux. It's possible to map the Windows button to something useful, but I haven't spent enough time figuring out how to do it. Here's what's bad: * It's not as smooth as the Logitech Unifying Receiver ie. the cursor jumps around a bit. Probably not what you need for gaming.* It shows up well on most surfaces except glass. Doesn't work at all on a glass surface.* The Windows key is cumbersome and completely useless. I even used it on a Windows PC and it was still useless. * Using the middle wheel as a middle button is inconvenient as the wheel can rotate when pressed down and in some applications this produces undesirable results. * While the battery life is great, a similar Logitech mouse with a unifying receiver seems to last longer.
