Very good mat for small projects; but read the dimensions carefully because it was smaller than I thought from the pictures. The magnetic surface is great for grabbing screws so they don't fall to the ground and get lost. I bought this to help me with a laptop repair as after removing all the case screws on the bottom of the laptop inevitably one or two will not come out. A vigorous shake of the laptop across a carpet will usually dislodge the screws, but they used to bounce off the desk and fall to the floor, where they were difficult to find. This carpet catches them, and it's good at that. I would give them that 5th star,
