Ideal for 2003 Tahoe. These control arms are an integral part of the torsion bar suspension on these vehicles. Apparently, without them (or when they wear out), the ride quality gets stiff. I've also read that they support some of the car's weight and provide the correct ride height. The originals are black and these are yellow (yellowish). As others have noted, color varies and the two I received were slightly different. Replacement parts are manufactured by BASF like the originals. Before the replacement, my Tahoe was 1/2 inch below the driver's front. Now it's aligned! After the car was jacked up to take the weight off the suspension, they popped out easily with a screwdriver. Silicone grease on them for easy installation. They're certainly cheap enough to easily swap out no matter how worn yours are.
