Review on Bridgestone Turanza T001 205/60 R16 92V summer by Wiktor elazny ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Good afternoon The car I drive is Ford Focus 2, 145 hp. Tire size - 205/55/R16. My colleague at work advised me in choosing tires (according to him, on his previous Turanza, which he also bought used, he drove for almost a few seasons, about 60 thousand km., And after that he also sold it ). Given that my mileage only on summer tires for at least a year is about 40-45 thousand km. and, adding the fact that before that I drove the vaunted Continental, which I didn’t have enough for the season, my choice fell on Bridgestone Turanza T001 XL W. Now, speaking of rubber (I think you’ll figure it out with decryptions). For a period of use of less than 2 months, I drove a little more than 8 thousand km. It feels like the rubber didn't wear out. A couple of weeks ago, at the exit from the city of Shakhty, I caught on in speed in Lancer (went tail to tail) and both of us, at a speed of approximately 140-150 km, flew both right wheels into a pothole on the road. Stopping and inspecting the wheels, I did not find any damage. It was a pity to look at the Lancer driver (on his car, the right front disc was simply crumpled, the rear right one burst. The Michelin tires simply tore in front, a little better in the back). Now about driving in wet weather. In the rain, at a speed of 120, I freely hold the car (it goes like a glove). The only drawback is the noise from it when driving, but it is more than covered by its merits - safety when driving on rocky terrain, holes in the roadway, wear resistance, the strongest sidewall (grinding with curbs is not terrible), etc. Friends! - all this is Turanza. So be careful when choosing tires. Even buying a bridgestone, I can only answer for this model with confidence. Good luck and attention to you on the roads.

Pros
  • Strong, durable, simply indestructible
Cons
  • How not cool, noisy
